Is The Federal Energy Tax Credit a Farce?

Have you heard in the news about the Federal Energy Tax Credit?

Some window treatment manufacturers have gone so far as to take this opportunity to make claims that their products may qualify for the Federal Energy Tax Credit offered by the US government.

There was an ad on TV last night about Hunter Douglas products that ended with a statement along the lines of... "certain Hunter Douglas products qualify for the Federal Energy Tax Credit."

This type of deceptive advertising only leads to confused and disappointed consumers, especially when they find out that there is only one product in the Hunter Douglas line that is certified for the tax credit. And even only under CERTAIN (dare I say... impossible) conditions, will it qualify for the tax credit!

Unfortunately, it seems as though NO actual window coverings qualify for this Federal Energy Tax Credit.

Buyers beware!

Ask alot of questions...

You're wrong- almost the entire Architella (cell within a cell construction) line of Duette fabric qualifies for the Federal Tax Credit.
$5000 Architella X 30% = $1500 tax credit.
Details of the\is exciting offer are posted at:

Something else to beware of... the Residential Energy Credit is not a credit at all. The official Democrat name for it is "Nonrefundable Credit," which in normal English means it is a deduction. If you don't owe the government money, you can't take the "credit."

As Regional Sales Manager for Danmer Custom Shutters, I'm proud to say our Thermalite shutter qualifies for the Residential Energy Tax Credit!

With insulation qualities three times better than a standard wood shutter, this product is water resistant making it perfect for kitchens or bath and shower rooms. It is fire retardant, and is completely child safe with no cords to harm small children or pets! Being synthetic, it contains no wood products, saving our natural resources.

Best of all, we back this American Made (Van Nuys Ca) product with a LIFETIME warranty on all moving parts and 25 full years on the finish.

Visit us at www.danmer.com for more details on any of our wood or synthetic (green) shutters for your home!
